We had a week of family fun last week! It was so great to have Donnie around every day and we just had a blast! Taylor really enjoyed it!
On Monday, Donnie and I dropped Taylor off to spend some quality time with Nana. And we had the day to ourselves! It was so fun just to spend some time with just the two of us. We tried a mexican place we hadn't been to...1492 in midtown. It was pretty good and we ran around town with no other responsibilities! Weird but nice!
Tuesday we loaded up and headed to Tulsa. Taylor loved the hotel room! She wanted to "sit down" on the bed and go "nigh nigh." She thought it was cool stuff!
This is the typical picture we get now...eyes closed.
That night we went to the riverwalk, had dinner, and then walked around. It was such a nice evening outside! And Taylor really enjoyed running around!
Miss Independent!
The next day we took her to the Aquarium. She loved it! Here she is pointing out the otters.
Touching a starfish!
After that, we headed back home.
We did some other fun things the rest of the week...
We took her to the playground...
She loves to slide! Weeee!
My beautiful baby!
Going down the big slide with Daddy! This was her favorite!
Another day, we went to the zoo. This was her 1st time in the petting zoo. She finally got brave enough to pet the goat and then the goat almost pooped on her shoes! She didn't know what was going on...she just kept looking at those little balls!
I think this was her favorite part...the river with rocks! She wanted to stay here forever and throw the rocks in the water.
We had a great week! It was so nice just to take some time and spend it as a family! We had fun, made some good memories, and came out of the week feeling refreshed! Taylor was not happy when Daddy had to go to work the next Monday! :(

Hooray for time off and for Tulsa trips. :)
ReplyDeleteI am still a court reporter here, and I actually live in Jenks, pretty near the Riverwalk and Aquarium! And yes, I have a blog - I was signed in on a different profile last time, but this should link you to it. :)
